#DahliaStory: Continuation
So, that's how it was.
Have you ever wondered if people really believe in you? Have you ever wondered if you were really gonna make a success story out of a journey you embarked on? Well, sometimes I
do. Sometimes, I'm scared I won't meet up to the standards I set..
At some point, I marvelled at the rate at which I was selling, to the point that I began to wonder if it was just luck that kept pushing me. Week in week out, I increased my production volume a little more and I would sell all!
Until one day, for a strange reason, I didn't get the usual sales volume. People didn't respond as much as they usually did.
Damn!
I was sad. What happened? Was there an error in my production process that reflected on the quality of the product? Did I not attend to my customers well? Were they pissed off about something?. I was worried. I didnt know what to do. I resorted to begging some friends to buy the cakes on credit. Even that didn't work. I carjoled, joked, did every trick that I know, but to no avail. I had to return the leftover products home, dejected and discouraged. I didn't think there would be a day that I would suffer low sales. I tried in vain to identify the cause of that challenge.
I ended up giving the rest of the cakes out. I learnt something from that experience however. I would share it in the next post.
I wanna ask you my readers: if you found yourself in that situation, what would you do?
